ADP: April guest nights rise to 3.4 million

Guest nights across New Zealand totalled 3.4 million in April 2025, up from 3.1 million for the same month last year.

The latest figures from the government’s Accommodation Data Programme showed international guest nights rose to 1.2 million from 1.1 million in April 2024.

Domestic guest nights increased to 2.2 million from 2 million.

This year, both Easter and Anzac Day fell within the two-week April school holidays period.
