Promisia Healthcare says Thomas Brankin will step down from his executive role at the company’s 2026 annual shareholders meeting and continue as a non-executive director.
Brankin is currently the majority shareholder of the aged care and retirement living provider.
In his executive capacity, he led the identification and development of acquisition opportunities, including the purchases of Golden View and Ripponburn in Cromwell, the expansion of Ranfurly Manor in Feilding and the divestment of Eileen Mary in Dannevirke.
The company said its senior executive team will take over responsibility for growth initiatives once he steps aside.
Separately, the board has confirmed that Craig Percy will return to independent director status from 31 May 2026 after previously serving a temporary six-month executive role supporting operations.
