CBRE appoints NZ, Aus advisory & transaction services lead

CBRE has appointed Darren Nugent to lead its advisory and transaction services business in New Zealand and Australia.

CBRE said last week that Nugent, based in Melbourne, joined the agent in 2006 and relocated to Australia three years ago to lead its Pacific occupier business, following senior roles in Dublin and Hong Kong.

“Darren has had a huge impact on our Pacific business and was last year named CBRE’s Professional of the Year at our peak Circle of Excellence awards program,” said CBRE ANZ advisory services chief executive Phil Rowland.

“We’re excited about the future opportunities for this business under his stewardship as the commercial real estate sector moves into a new growth cycle.”
