‘Growth’ is the word underpinning the outlook for commercial property in 2025, according to Bayleys.
The agent said that would follow a 2024 that saw the lowest number of sales transactions in decades.
“But don’t expect it to happen overnight – it will be a slow burn as the year unfolds, particularly on the value side of the coin,” said Bayley’s national director of commercial and industrial, Ryan Johnson.
“A smoother pathway to gaining approvals under the Resource Management Act and related legislation, coupled with improving economic fundamentals, points to a new development cycle in 2025.”
