Christopher Luxon will travel to India next week, visiting New Delhi and Mumbai, accompanied by one of the largest delegations a New Zealand prime minister has ever travelled with.
Senior business leaders, a community delegation of prominent Kiwi Indians, representatives from across Parliament, Tourism and Hospitality Minister Louise Upston, Trade and Investment Minister Todd McClay, and Ethnic Communities Minister Mark Mitchell will all go along.
While in India, Luxon will meet with Prime Minister Narendra Modi to explore “areas of cooperation, deepen political and security ties and strengthen the economic relationship”.
Luxon and the delegation will depart New Zealand on 15 March.
