Foodstuffs opens Hastings social supermarket

Foodstuffs North Island and charity Nourished for Nil have officially opened a second social supermarket in Hawke’s Bay.

The opening of the shop at 506 Queen Street West, Hastings, comes 18 months after the launch of Napier’s first social supermarket, which has supported more than 3,400 families.

Nourished for Nil’s role is Hawke’s Bay’s largest food rescue and food support organisation.
