Marketing and leasing professional Kate Smith has joined Colliers as a retail leasing executive in Christchurch.
Smith moved into the property sector in January last year with Bayleys in Canterbury.
She has held senior brand and marketing roles at DB Breweries, Asahi Beverages, Global Endeavors Group and Trade Aid New Zealand.
Long-serving Argosy Property chief executive Peter Mence says he plans to step down in May 2027.
Mence was appointed general manager of Argosy (then known as ING Property Trust) in 2007 and chief executive in 2009.
The company is also implementing its board succession plan, with Martin Stearne stepping into the chair role from the conclusion of the 2027 annual meeting taking over from Jeff Morrison.
QT Auckland has appointed Michael Stamboulidis its new general manager.
Stamboulidis, who started in the role at the beginning on June, comes from Australia’s QT Newcastle, where he spent four years at the helm.
He has more than two decades of experience in the hospitality industry, including senior leadership roles at QT Sydney and QT Melbourne.
Angelique van der Merwe is now the head of marketing and brand at Millennium Hotels and Resorts, New Zealand.
Van der Merwe used to work for marketing strategy collaboration business Colab Connects and was previously the director of sales and marketing at JetPark Hotels.
She is a board member of Destination Cambridge.
