Q4 farm sales jump 29% – REINZ

For the three months ending December 2024, there were 70 more farm sales compared to the same period in 2023.

According to the Real Estate Institute of New Zealand, that was up or 28.6%.

In total, 315 farms were sold in the last quarter of 2024.

The median price per hectare for all farms during over the three months was $28,710, down 13.5% from the $33,220 recorded in the three months December 2023.
