Value of offices, admin, transport building consents jump

The annual value of offices, administration, and public transport buildings consented in the year to December 2024 totalled $1.84bn.

Stats NZ’s latest building consents data released today showed that figure was up 24% from the year ended December 2023.

The annual value of non-residential building work consented in the year to December 2024 was $9.3bn, down 0.9%.
