Q4 real estate, rental, hiring sales up

Sales of rental, hiring, and real estate services totalled $9.3bn in the December 2024 quarter.

Stats NZ’s latest business financial data showed the category was up 1% on the preceding September quarter but 2.6% up on the corresponding period a year earlier.

Overall sales for all categories totalled $200bn over the December quarter, up 0.1% on the same period a year earlier.
